Rose Rug

This rug is worked in three stages:

First, crochet the central part of the rug. Work back and forth in half-double crochet stitch.

Second, make a sufficient number of flowers (in my case 36) to attach around the central part. The flower consists of the lower pink part and upper pink-and-brown which is then sewn to the pink one. You can use any flower pattern you have in your collection.

Third, crochet three rounds of half-double stitches around the flowers, attaching the thread to 2 petals of each flower.

Finaly, wash and form the right shape of your rug while stil wet. Sew a non-slippery band onto the back side of the rug.
